Primary Education Programme (PEP)
The Primary Education Programme (PEP) provides quality education to children aged 6 to 13 who attend the Pebbles Academy which is located at the Pebbles Hemel-en-Aarde Education Project (HEAEP) in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus.
The Pebbles Academy
When the local government school closed down in 2019, children from nearby farming communities suddenly found themselves without a school.
Pebbles Project stepped in and established the Pebbles Academy in July 2019. Registered with the Western Cape Education Department, the Pebbles Academy offers education from Grade R to Grade 7 for children from nearby farms in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
