Woolworths MyDifference

MyDifference is the customer loyalty and giving programme of Woolworths, a major South African retail chain. It replaces the old MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet and WRewards programmes, combining them into one simple system.

When you shop at Woolworths and swipe your MyDifference card (or scan your app), you not only enjoy exclusive savings and rewards, but you also raise funds for causes you care about – at no extra cost to you. This means every time you shop, Woolworths donates a percentage of your spend to the causes you’ve chosen.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • You sign up for free via the Woolworths app or in-store.
  • You select up to three causes to support (we hope you’ll choose The Pebbles Project Trust and Pebbles Academy).
  • Each time you shop at Woolworths, simply scan your app or card.
  • Woolworths donates a portion of your purchase to your chosen causes – at no cost to you.
  • You’ll also enjoy rewards, vouchers, discounts, and bonus perks based on your shopping level.

For existing members: Why Reselecting Matters?

If you previously supported Pebbles Project through MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet, you’ll need to reselect us in the new MyDifference app, otherwise your shopping will no longer benefit our programmes.

For new members: Why Join MyDifference?

If you’ve never joined before, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference simply by doing your everyday shopping. By signing up and selecting Pebbles Project, you’ll be helping us provide education, health, and nutrition support to children from farming communities across the Western Cape.

How to Join and Support Pebbles Project

  1. Download or update the Woolworths app from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Sign up for the Woolworths app (new members) or log in (existing members).
  3. Tap “Activate MyDifference Card” in the app.
  4. Go to Select Causes.
  5. Choose Education.
  6. Select Combined Schools.
  7. Choose The Pebbles Project Trust and the Pebbles Academy as your causes.
  8. *Tip: You can support up to three causes – we encourage you to select The Pebbles Project Trust and the Pebbles Academy to maximise your impact.
  9. If you prefer a physical card, you can pick one up in-store, but it still needs to be linked in the Woolworths app.
